<ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">PTCL group which owns Ufone, signed a Share Purchase Agreement in December 2023 to acquire 100% of Telenor Pakistan. The deal was initially expected to close by June 2025, but to delays in regulatory approvals especially from the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP), the agreement has now been extended to September 30, 2025.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Pakistan's telecom sector exhibits an oligopolistic structure dominated by a few major players. The sector is highly concentrated, with the top four operators: Jazz, Telenor, Zong, and Ufone collectively controlling over 90% of the market share.</span> </li></ul>
