Pakistan Fertilizers: Muted demand continues – By Foundation Research

<ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Fertilizer offtake remained weak with urea edging down/up 1/4% YoY/MoM, respectively, to 608KT in Jul&rsquo;25. The Government&rsquo;s withdrawal of support prices, which has severely strained farmer earnings, led to subdued fertilizer offtake in 7MCY25. During 7MCY25, Urea/DAP sales recorded a decline of 19/21% YoY to only 2,959/562KT compared to 3,649/708KT in 7MCY24, respectively. Company wise analysis reveals that FFC/FATIMA urea offtake inclined 10/4% YoY and 1/20% MoM to 273/97KT in Jul&rsquo;25, respectively whereas EFERT recorded a decline of 16/1% YoY/MoM to 207KT.
