Pakistan Fertilizer: Encouraging June offtake overshadowed by poor 1H performance - By Foundation Research

<p></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Fertilizer offtake is slowly picking up pace with urea dispatches up 21/39% YoY/MoM, respectively, to 582KT in Jun&rsquo;25. As for 1HCY25, fertilizer offtake remained unattractive due to Govt&rsquo;s decision to abolish support prices that has severely impacted farmer income. During 1HCY25, Urea/DAP sales recorded a decline of 23/16% YoY to only 2,351/455KT. Company wise analysis reveals that FFC urea offtake inclined 4/30% YoY/MoM to 269KT in Jun&rsquo;25, whereas EFERT/FATIMA recorded a jump of 34/93% YoY and 46/51% MoM to 208/81KT, respectively. AGL&rsquo;s urea offtake dwindled/jumped 12/60% YoY/MoM to reach 24KT in Jun&rsquo;25.
