Habib Bank Ltd (HBL): CY24 EPS rises marginally to PKR 39.9, DPS PKR 16.25 - By Foundation Research

<p></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Habib Bank Limited (HBL) announced its 4QCY24 results today reporting earnings of PKR 14.4Bn (EPS: PKR 9.8), &darr;2.9/0.3% YoY/QoQ respectively taking CY24 earnings to PKR 39.9/sh (&uarr;1% YoY). The announced result is higher than our expectation due to one off other income of PKR 14.3Bn, higher than anticipated capital gains and lower taxation expenses. Along with the result, the bank announced a final dividend of PKR 4.25/sh (CY24 payout: PKR 16.25/sh).</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Net Interest Income (NII) receded 6% YoY in 4Q to PKR 60.3Bn however, on a sequential basis the decline was recorded at 5%.
