Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Power generation during Dec-2024 clocked in at
7,801GWh, posting a marginal growth of 1% YoY.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Average cost of generation for Dec-2024 stood at Rs9.4/kWh,
down 15% YoY. The drop broadly stems from decline in share of expensive fuel
sources and lower cost of coal and gas generation. On a sequential basis, cost
went up 30% mainly due to a drop in Hydel generation which stood at 23% in the
