Pakistan Market: KMI-30 reclassification Significant weight reduction of textile and cements – By Insight Research

<p></p><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has announced its semi-annual reconstitution for the KMI-30 Index, which will take effect on Monday, 30th Dec&rsquo;24. This reconstitution involves several significant changes to the index composition and sector weightage.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Textile: The weight of the textile sector has been reduced from 2.4% to 0%.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Cement: The weight of the cement sector has been reduced from 15.5% to 11.8%, primarily due to removal of CHCC (Cherat cement company).</span></li></ul><p></p>
