- ECC, in a recent meeting approved on average 191% increase in gas prices across various domestic, commercial and industrial consumers. The increase would be notified with effect from 1 July 2019 after formal approval by the federal cabinet.
- For fertilizer manufacturers, ECC approved an increase of 62% and 31% to PKR 300/mmbtu and PKR 1,021/mmbtu for feedstock and fuel respectively.
