Fertilizer: ECC extends urea exports deadline – we see improvement in supply glut – By JS Research

<ul><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">In the meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) held yesterday, the members decided to extend urea export date to October 31, 2017 from April 28, 2017, in-line with demands of the industry.</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Apart from date extension, ECC also increased urea export quantity to 0.6mn tons from 0.3mn tons previously. Only Engro Fertilizers (EFERT), Fauji Fertilizer (FFC) and Fatima Fertilizer (FATIMA) could export some quantities as per our channel checks. </span></li><li><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:medium;">Our discussion with industry sources suggest that export quota will be allocated based on production share of each company.
